Grassfires
This was my final piece for Communication Design 2. The task was to select a quote / excerpt from a list provided to us and film a type-related piece on the location specified next to each selection. I chose “Grassfires” by Robert Lowell and chose an abandoned lot on 13th Street between 3rd and 2nd Avenue. I recruited friends to help put the piece together while filming the work’s creation from a static location.
